Sophie Akoto releases official video for ‘Aseda’
Ghanaian gospel musician Sophie Akoto has officially unleashed visuals for her much-anticipated soul healing single dubbed ‘Aseda’.

‘Aseda’ sung in the Ghanaian popular dialect Twi, literally translates as ‘Thanksgiving,’ in English, comes with its powerful visuals that reechoes the theme of the song.

It also pivots on the need to depend on God in all situations and be thankful to him.

The London based Elijah Records signee has over the years from a humble beginning believes the good Lord has been extremely faithful to her through her record label for unearthing her talent and investing in her music career.

The song is programmed by Sha and produced by Charles Kwasi. The video was shot on location in Amsterdam and was directed by Charles Kwasi.

‘Aseda’ song is available on all online digital music platforms.

Fast-raising Ghanaian London-based gospel musician Sophie Akoto after inspiring Ghanaians with her first single "Ayeyie", has again released another soul healing single dubbed in the Ghanaian Twi dialect "Aseda" literally means 'Thanksgiving'. 

From a humble beginning and a burning desire to sing, the Elijah Records signee has purged herself through the mill of her music career and to revere the greatness and goodness of God. 

The singer believes the good Lord has been extremely faithful and grateful to her through the help of label who saw the worth of her potential and decided to invest in her music career and as Exodus 15:2 says “The LORD is my strong defender; He is the one who has saved me. He is my God, and I will praise Him, my father’s God, and I will sing about his greatness.” So sing, dance, and lift your hands or do whatever you can to praise the Lord!

The single is off the singer’s upcoming album, yet to be unveiled.

The song is programmed by Sha and produced by Charles Kwasi.

Mizter Okyere - Aseda

Weeks after emerging the topmost Instrumentalist of The Year at the eventful 19th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards, Mizter Okyere refreshes the music list with "Aseda".

The self produced song is a special gratitude to fans and industry players for their diverse roles in supporting his craft to the top. He mentions bloggers, deejays, churches, musicians, event organisers and many others.

Affectionately called the "soul healer" for the healing effect his saxophone exudes, Mizter Okyere narrates the breaking point, and hadn't been for the influence of these support would have missed on the opportunity to entertain all and sundry.
