RJZ Signs With Twist Entertainment Legacy
RJZ Signs With Twist Entertainment Legacy
RJZ, the eccentric Ghanaian singer who first courted nationwide prominence as a member of the envelope-pushing Afro-trap collective, La Même Gang, has pitched camp with Twist Entertainment Legacy (TEL).

The deal, a 360 arrangement, makes him the second talent to sign with the Kwame Goka-led imprint (Kweku Afro being the first).

The musician behind the outstanding singles “Not Yours,’ “Bye Bye,” “Dangerous,’ and “Hello Daddy” describes his partnership with TEL as “an organic connection” that “simply felt right.”
Optimistic, RJZ (born Joshua Pharez Essuman Mensah) holds a firm conviction about what prospects lay ahead as a result of his signing.

“Obviously, there’s a lot we can both achieve if we bring what we got unto the table,” he says, adding that “joining forces will only bring out a positive outcome, and that’s the plan.”

He also maintains that despite this new move in his career, he remains a member of La Même Gang, with whom he has issued two albums. In June 2016, he issued his first solo project: FLAIR (For Love and Integrity Reigns).

Artist manager,Henry Akrong , who speaks for TEL, explains the decision of his outfit to pick up RJZ as an opportunity they simply could not pass on: “We listened to his catalogue and were very impressed by his dynamic style and vocal approach. He’s a great songwriter and performer. Once we connected with him, we knew we had made a good decision, and we’re super excited to announce him as a TEL act.”

Blonde-haired and bold, RJZ has been widely deemed an essential cultural voice among his peers, and a leader among the new crop of emerging stars.

An alumnus of the Mfantsipim School and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), RJZ can best be described as an outlier. His style of music—which he labels as “feels”—listens like a refreshing synthesis of hip-hop, R&B, highlife, Afrobeats, and Trap.

Thematically, his vision is to cater to essential subjects that speak to the sensibilities of lovers of wholesome music.

He is due to release a new single, his first under TEL, in coming days.

Blak P
Blak P
Singer/Rapper Blak P has denied allegations that Osofo Kyiri Abosom wants to pomp cash into his song featuring Yaa Pono titled 'Medabrem Ny3' music video shoot in order to use the song for his political party Ghana Union Movement (GUM) 2020 election campaign.

He made this known in an interview on Kumasi based radio station Gye Nyame FM where he was asked about rumors going round that some political parties have contacted his management team to finance "Medabrem ny3" music video.

Blak P also tells Ghanaians that he and his management vision music are not politicians and did not come to do politics but rather to entertain his fans with motivation, inspirational and heart touching songs.

He, therefore, calls on the attention to all politicians that "Medabrem ny3" song was not composed to ridicule any political party come 2020 election. Blak P clears the air that he has not call Osofo kyiri Abosom to sell the song to him neither he wants to give him money to use it for the 2020 campaign.

"I want to let Ghanaians know that I am not a politician and my management is not in for politics, we are into entertainment my fans because some people don't listen to advice from people but took it from music".

David Adjei Frimpong (Portfolio)
David Adjei Frimpong (Portfolio)
His name certainly can’t be ruled out in media landscape in the region as far as entertainment and showbiz is concerned owing to his overly assertive and domineering personality.

He has been tagged the most controversial media personality due to his hit-hard and uncompromising style of analysis and punditry.

However, the brand PORTFOLIO has over the past few years been identified much more with events hosting and has made him a deep-rooted household events MC one can’t skip when making their top list of event hosts in Ashanti region.

Born DAVID ADJEI FRIMPONG to a family of academicians and religiosity, it took the family by surprise the sudden turn of passion from an envisaged corporate dude to an entertainment icon , a field that broke the rules of his household yet passion kept him grounded to pursue his dream field as a showbiz personality.

It is now undeniable, though debatable that he has been the most domineering event MC particularly in 2019 in Kumasi to have hosted the most corporate, social, indoor and outdoor events in the city. He has confessed to a very fruitful year when our outfit probed him on that.

A walk into his laurels so far, it was interesting to know PORTFOLIO has had enviable force in politics and public speaking from school going age til date and it was no news why he has mastery over crowd engagements and his craft as an event host.

Listing his nomination and awards as a public speaker and a leader aside the countless nominations,

*Best Public Speaker (independence debate -2011)KOSS
*V.SRC president (KOSS)
*P.R.O(CASS-social sciences-KNUST)
*FACULTY PRESIDENT(college of ART-social science)-KNUST.
*Dep.P.R.O(school of Economics-KNUST)
*N.S.S president (B/A techiman north&South-municipal)

Others awards :
Best/outstanding leader -NUGS-Vice chancellor Awards KNUST15.
–RoyalBANK college awards -presidential honors -KNUST
–OBAA MO awards for women empowerment-KNUST
–NSS presidency honors -(B/A techiman north & south)
-SOCISO excellence awards -KNUST and many others

PORTFOLIO hopes to return to his first love (politics) in the near future but at the moment wants to help inject life back to entertainment in Ashanti region which is close to dead and makes him worried.

A tall list of events and stages he has handled can be traced in his social media bio by following @David Germain Portfolio on all social media platforms. For bookings and engagements contact him through:

Scrip-T
Medical practitioner cum Musician Scrip-T has taken to social media to register his thoughts on the rate at which some black skin ladies tend to bleach/tone their skin just to become fair.

The issue of skin bleaching has become a worrisome menace in Africa and the world at large wit lots of celebrities and organizations speaking against it.

The ‘Gimme Joy’ hitmaker shared a video of what is supposedly an ‘instant bleaching process’ where a black lady is submerged in some slimy liquid and her dark skin is been scraped off revealing the white layer.

“Put down the bleach my Black QUEEN. Your skin is not dirt that needs to be cleaned out like yesterday’s shirt. You are comprised Sienna, chestnut and warm mahogany. Dark as the night sky, constellations are tucked neatly underneath your bones. Your skin reminiscent of the hot chocolate that warms winter nights. Like rings around a tree stump, you too have history etched into your MELANIN. DON’T LET THE GLARING WHITENESS, BLIND YOU FROM THE BEAUTY YOU ARE. ❤😞 #musicson”, He said.

As a registered nurse, Scrip-T is definitely in the right position to advise against such practices due to its side effects.

Born Gabriel Asare, the 2018 VGMA20 UNSUNG nominee has been on promoting his new song titled ‘Mouth Okro’.
